MANIFESTO:

I believe it was Joseph Goebbels, the man who brainwashed the German's minds in Nazi Germany, who said that a lie repeated too many times ends up becoming the truth.

When I see the lack of talent of most of the artists in the music business I can't stop thinking that Goebbels was right.

The record companies, that seem to be as greedy as the evil Emperor in Star Wars, pick a pretty girl or boy who plays the guitar or sings, hire an excellent make-up artist, play his or her song a million times on TV or on the radio and, voilá, we have a star . Most of us end up appreciating the song. It's a brainwashing process. Usually we don't like the artist's work at first time, but time goes by and the song is played so many times that we are lead into enjoying it.

It has been like this for decades. The movie Dreamgirls, with Beyoncé and Jammie Foxx, shows a little bit of this crooked system. The movie shows Jamie Foxx's character bribing radio programmers and DJ's to play his record company's songs. That money wasn't always acquired honestly. That was the bloody payolla.

And that is the reality of the music business.

An executive of the marketing department of a record company thinks an artists is cool, even when he isn't, manages to over produce the person and its work, pay the payolla and a star is born. It's a simple formula, very much like a cake recipe.

I know this is horrible. I know this is cruel. But I won't deny this crooked system has favored good people in the past, because many excellent musicians, in order to have their songs played, had to submit themselves to these.

The truth is that most of the mainstream artists suck. They are untalented musicians whose songs are played in movies or even on MTV (do they still play music?) endlessly. We can only wonder about why some executive of some record company liked that thing. Maybe the artist had sex with director/executive, maybe the “artist” has powerful friends pulling the strings for him or her. Who knows? I only know that, when you realize, your brothers and sisters are worshipping this so-called “artists”.

I had the misfortune to see one of these mediocre musicians last year. I was amazed at the many teenagers who clapped and sang along with that person (I'm not giving away names here, but the name this creature uses certainly defines the poor quality of her music). The so-called musician moved across the stage like a puppet, sang completely off key and pretended to play a Gibson Les Paul. This woman wouldn't even be considered pretty by the standards of our society, which makes her success absolutely incomprehensible.

But now this system is turning against the same record companies who created it. The companies invest millions in payolla but no one buys their CD's anymore. It seems everyone is downloading songs illegally, so all the payolla money is a waste.

Do you want to know one thing? They had it coming. I'm tired of seeing amazing musicians playing for empty bars while mediocre people, like the one described above, fills stadiums with their empty music because of the recording industry's power.

The recording industry's simple-minded accountant mentality (with all due respect to the job) coupled with their corruption and lack of honesty, which matches that of Fantastic Four's Dr. Doom, closes the doors to those who really have talent. But these very things are poisoning to death this crooked system because of a little thing called the MP3 format.

We artists must flee from this crooked system created by the Recoding Industry and find alternative means to promote our work. That is why I created dogzsongs radio, because I want us all to have the opportunity to have their songs played.

Here all mp3's are legal and authorized by the artists. So we are 100% percent legal.

Let's say a big NO to these evil schemes of these record company's, that seem to be directed by villains of comic books, and promote our music our own way!

The internet and the mp3 technology allow us to show our music to the whole world without us selling our souls to the “devil” of the record companies!

Let's change this crooked system, promoting what is ours correctly and honestly!
